Botswana

Botswana has established itself internationally as a dream destination for nature tourism, thanks in part to policies that discourage mass tourism.


The village is the ideal place for those seeking an experience primarily focused on animal sightings and the feeling of being completely immersed in nature.

From the Okavango Delta, which experiences an annual flood that slowly flows from its source in

Angola, to the Chobe River and the spectacular park that surrounds it, to the southern reaches of the country, home to the spectacular Kalahari Desert, Botswana offers extraordinary experiences.

While the more remote areas are only covered by ultra-luxury accommodations, the Mobile Safari experience, with a camp that moves as you visit different areas, is a valid alternative for exploring the more remote areas.

Self-driving in the country, while possible, is not recommended as the roads within the parks are rarely used and maintenance is sporadically performed. Unless you have organized travel with at least two vehicles and a reasonable amount of off-road driving experience, a guided experience is definitely better.
